This is the anonymous ftp server for the 
	National Park Service
Improper or unauthorized use of this server is punishable
under 18 USC 1030.

NOTE 1:  The anonymous ftp sites for NPS Internal and NPS external 
are now now separate servers.  This server is
only for NPS files available to the public (INTERNET). See Note 4.  If you are 
looking for NBS files, you may connect to ftp.nbs.gov. 

NOTE 2:  The incoming directory is automatically cleared 
out of any files older than 60 days.  If you have questions 
or problems with this, please let me know.

NOTE 3: Currently anonymous download is allowed. 
For upload please use "nps" as the username and 
"1234" as the password.

NOTE 4: If you see your files are missing from this server, 
they have "NOT" been deleted. The older ftp server still holds your files.
Please send an email to Bud McDonald (bud_mcdonald@nps.gov) 
so he can help you move your files over to this new public ftp server.

NOTE 5: This server is also called tekkie.itc.nps.gov 
(you may connect to this server name as an alias in WSFTP etc)
